It is a mass action Kannada origin film 'Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire' was released in theatres on December 22.The movie was directed by Prashanth Neel.The movie stars are Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan in lead roles.The movie received a lot of positive response from fans. The movie made more than Rs 90 crore with advance sales and it was expected to perform well at the box office on the day of its release. While experts suggested that the film will make double of Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki on day 1, the movie is now suspected to have made more than Rs 95 crore in India and more than Rs 175 crore worldwide on day 1. The film is said to have made the biggest ever opening in India and abroad in 2023.
The previous film Adipurush where prabhas act as a lead role failed hugely at the box office. The rebel star Prabhas is gaining his place at the box office comeback with salaar. The movie on day 1 is reportedly said to have made Rs 175 crore at the global box office and it is expected to grow over the weekend as the occupancy rate for the movie is almost over 95%.
Other crew members are Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha and Sriya Reddy in prominent roles and the music is composed by Ravi Basrur. 'Salaar' clashed at the box office with the Hindi film 'Dunki' that stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, but it overthrew the film with its heavy competition.
Salaar did well globally, especially in different language regions. The movie is releasing in five languages Hindi, Telugu, English, Tamil and kannada.It is come out so many languages which helped it become a big success at the box office. The Telugu and Hindi versions were especially popular, making a lot of money and showing that people really like Prabhas in India.
